411mania.com is once again looking to bring aboard some new writers! Writing for 411 is a fun experience that gives you valuable experience writing for a major website! Many writers have used 411 as a springboard to writing books and establishing themselves in the entertainment industry, not to mention the perks of writing which include scoring countless "freebies" (DVDs, video games, CDs, etc.), attending concerts and screenings as media, interviewing stars, attending wrestling indie shows as media, attending conventions and shows as media, and more! Please read the descriptions below and follow the instructions when applying.

MOVIES

Note: Writers in the Movie Zone get many opportunities to land free advance DVDs, attend movie screenings as media, interview celebrities, and more!

Columnist - We are looking for a writer to provide a UNIQUE voice via a weekly movie/TV-focused column. These columns would be editorials and opinion focused, not news focused like the News Reports. You would have to meet the weekly deadline we assign to you. Columns would have to be spelling and grammar checked. The key here is to provide a UNIQUE voice and perspective of the world of movies & TV. We do not want rehashes of our other columnists. Be yourself! Please send samples to Leonard and Ashish.

News Report Columnist - We are looking for a writer to provide a UNIQUE voice via a weekly movie/TV-focused News Report column. These columns would be a mix of the latest movies/TV news and gossip along with your opinions on the subject and other creative sections. You would have to meet the weekly deadline we assign to you. DVD Reviewer: - We are looking for writers to provide detailed, informative reviews of new DVDs. DVD reviewers will often be given opportunities to review copies of DVDs sent to us by distributors. All work would have to be spelling and grammar checked. Please send samples to Leonard and Ashish.

Film Reviewer: - We are looking for writers to provide detailed, informative reviews of new movies in theaters, preferably soon after the film's release. Film reviewers will often be given opportunities to attend screenings for films in the LA and NYC areas. All work would have to be spelling and grammar checked. MUSIC

WWE Smackdown Reporter - We need a writer to do a report of WWE Smackdown each week and have the report posted within 15 minutes of the show ending. SD! Reporter is one of the most important spots on the site since the Smackdown Report is one of the most read articles each week. Reports would have to be spelling and grammar checked. ECW On Sci-Fi Reporter - We need a writer to do a report of ECW On Sci-Fi each week and have the report posted within 15 minutes of the show ending. ECW On Sci-Fi Reporter is one of the most important spots on the site since the ECW On Sci-Fi Report is one of the most read articles each week. Reports would have to be spelling and grammar checked. Deep South Wrestling Reporter - We need a writer to do a report of Deep South Wrestling TV each week and post the report to the site. Reports would have to be spelling and grammar checked. Please send samples to Larry, Randle, and Ashish.

Columnist - We are looking for a writer to provide a UNIQUE voice via a weekly politics-focused column. These columns would be editorials and opinion focused, not news focused like the News Reports. Please try to narrow your focus to the mainstream national political scene (ie major issues that casual readers would be familiar with). You would have to meet the weekly deadline we assign to you. Columns would have to be spelling and grammar checked. The key here is to provide a UNIQUE voice and perspective of the world of politics. Game Reviewers/Previewers - We are looking for writers to provide reviews and previews of video games. You would need to review games we send you as well as games you purchase or rent. Previews consist of compiling known information and screens of a game into a single article, as well as previewing early copies of titles we may send you. Columnist - We are looking for a writer to provide a UNIQUE voice via a weekly games-focused column. These columns would be editorials and opinion focused, not news focused like the News Reports.
